If you have returned from a volunteer travel experience, all fired up and passionate about having a positive impact in the world through your daily choices – or feel like this anyway without having volunteered! – watch this video and use the following prompts for further discussion:

• What do you think the biggest value of your time abroad was? Did it end when you end your placement? How can you translate your short term experience abroad into ongoing positive impact?
• What lessons have you learned from your time abroad that you think are worth sharing? How can you help others understand when they haven’t had the same experiences as you?
• What do you think are the biggest issues facing our world today? Why do these issues exist and how are they being perpetuated? Who is responsible, and who is responsible for addressing them? What is your role?
• What steps can you take now, right away, to ensure you are part of the solution and not the problem?
